I really like my hydro flask overall. It is a solid choice for people looking to invest in a high-end water bottle. BUT, that isn't to say that it doesn't have downsides.Pros:1. I love the color options! My water bottle is super bright and colorful. It makes me just happy to look at it.2. The water does stay really cold. I haven't gotten to test this out much because the tap water where I am isn't ever cold by default so it just melts the ice cubes but it does stay cold. I know lots of people with hydro flasks and I hear ice cubes jostling around in their bottles all day.3. Hydro flask has quite a few accessories for their flasks. It gives the ability to customize your flask a lot. I do wish there were more options from the brand itself, but it's whatever.4. I bought my hydro flask at a store in Wisconsin, and it has a really cool custom laser engraved design. If you end up ordering a custom hydro flask from hydro flask's website, the laser engraving looks really nice!5. If you want to customize your hydro flask, I would say it is the most accommodated brand when it comes to personalization. There are hundreds of 3rd party products for hydro flasks and custom stickers online.Cons:1. I think this water bottle is overpriced. The only reason I got this over other brands is because it looks awesome and has bright colors and a cool name/brand. But functionally, it does the same as what other brands do. I have a 40z simple modern flask that is 20 dollars cheaper but keeps drinks super cold. If you are thinking about getting this bottle, please consider other cheaper brands.2. In my experience, I have to screw on my lid pretty tight to seal it, but it's so tight to the point where it can be a little tough to screw off. It's not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. This could just be because I have noodles for arms.3. I haven't dented my hydro flask yet but most of my friends that have hydro flasks HAVE. I would say it's not the most durable brand compared to others. But it isn't terrible. I definitely recommend getting a boot along with your flask so the bottom will be protected from dents.4. It's a little heavy, but not any more than other flask brands. It's definitely something to consider though if you do a lot of walking and hiking where you would need to carry it around. If you want a lightweight bottle, I would recommend Nalgenes.Overall, I really love my hydro flask. It's awesome and I take it everywhere. It is super customizable and looks fanatic. Yeah it does have some cons but for me at least, it was worth it. I've had mine for a few weeks and I haven't had any problems. As a side note, I heavily recommend getting a silicone straw that fits in your hydro flask instead of buying a straw lid. My straw can just be pushed down in my bottle when putting a lid on and pops out when the lid is off. It's really convenient and prevents spills all over your face. I know this review was long, but I hope I've provided some valuable information for you.
