Mission: PRESERVATION OF THE NATURAL RANGE AND WILD HORSE SANCTUARY. The Sanctuary and its staff are devoted to the spirit of the wild mustangs and provides America's unadoptable horses a quality life of freedom.
Results: The Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary is a showcase where the public can see large herds of wild horses running free and come to understand our efforts toward land conservation and the preservation of our western heritage - America's Wild Mustangs! The Sanctuary had more than 10,000 visitors in 2015.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Around 700 horses live on more than 11,000 acres of sanctuary land
