This item was used in my 5th wheel. It was a simple plug and play item.

Was really excited until I noticed the plug isn't American. Why was it delivered like it was Jimmy Johns freaky fast subs but I thought it came from overseas and had a UK plug?? After some research I find that its a NEMA 6-20 plug which is still a U.S. type plug but by far not conventional to the generic style commonly used. Now I gotta make a trip to The Home Depot now to find a extension for it. I'm not complaining though since I love that store and I'm not even a dad yet.

I wish the voltage could be adjusted working with solar I would like to have it be able to bring it up to 14.114.2

I run two of these when I need a good heavy charge on my 6Kw diesel generator. Or when I need lighter charging I run one on a cheap inverter generator rated at 1600W. The charger draws about 1140 W and the generator runs for 5 hours on 1.1 gallon of gasoline. The chargers do put out 55A. The diesel which will run both uses about 1/3 to 1/2 half a gallon per hour. I've been doing this for 40 years now, have been using the Iota's for a long while, cant remember how long. These inverter generators that run slower while keeping Htz proper are really cool. Run slower = more efficient fuel use. Lately I think I use the small gas generator more than the diesel one even tho winters are long and dark and I run one every day.
