Mission: IT TAKES TWO, INC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people and increasing the opportunities of youth in Maryland and surrounding areas. Our mission is to enhance the educational experiences for young people from single parent households by awarding scholarships to address a variety of basic as well as expansive educational needs. It is our goal to promote the significance of education, build self-awareness, and encourage our youth; ultimately creating tomorrow's leaders today.
Results: - 19 Tools for Success Scholarships awarded totaling over $6K- Successful annual College Access Tour visiting local campuses- Donated over 200 books to classrooms and youth programs in support of literacy- Ongoing strategic community partnerships with local nonprofits/agencies to Anne Arundel Department of Education and Department of Social Services- Created a space for over 20 youth entrepreneurs for the past four years to exhibit at our annual Poetry in Motion fashion show

Programs: Tools for Success Scholarship is open to students in grades four through college living in (or come from) single parent homes. These awards pay for school supplies, books, uniforms, sports and academic fees. We also assist youth socially and educationally through our Positioned for Greatness Youth Program that sits on six pillars: anti-bullying, college and career readiness, financial literacy, community service, leadership, and youth entrepreneurship.
