Honestly, these taste like McDonald's fries to me I love the taste and texture, they're cut thin, and the bucket is just a nice container to have instead of a bag. Mine came whole as well and not crushed in pieces. Very happy.

Good flavor.. however the consistency of the product was a bit off.. 1st time ordered 1 of crumbs. 2nd tine ordering less than 1/2 crumbs. Only difference to me .. was the packaging 2nd order was packed alone.

This 28-ounce jar of plantain chips is fabulous. My kids love these and asked for more. They have even reminded me of this a few times since we finished these. I have to agree. They are a great chip, crunchy and full of flavor. Very highly recommended.

These plantain chips or platanutres as they are called in PR were delicious! They did not last long. They were fresh, crispy but not hard and not too salty. Both hubby and I are from the Caribbean and grew up eating these. They are perfect for snacking on and even better when drinking adult beverages. The container they come in is perfect and since we only took out what we were going to eat and closed it back up, they remained fresh until we ate them all.

Tasted great. They were sealed and fresh. Not too greasy or salty, not bland either: they were the perfect balance. Being in a big plastic jar was good in that is was easily re-sealable and prevented the chips from being crushed (like you would find on the bottom of a bag). On the other hand, it was bad in that it's a lot of plastic waste. Maybe re-use the jar afterwards as a planter, bucket, or craft of some sort....but yeah the plantain chips were good.

I love the flavor of these plantain chips - it's a Nutty flavor, almost like cashews, except more subtle. I've been snacking on these frequently and I think it's a healthy snack - I've had no stomach issues, in fact I'm sure it's beneficial to the digestive system because it's high in fiber and isn't greasy at all. I like these better than potato chips, which always make me feel icky after I've eaten a lot of them. The expiration date is 11/2022 - kind of soon and I don't know if that's typical of this product. I think they're delicious and at $12.99 for a one pound jar, I'd order it again.

I've never had plantain chips before and thought this would be an interesting way for me to try something new and share the experience with my grandchildren. We were all pleasantly surprised by the texture, flavor, and crunch. We'll be keeping a supply on hand.
