I love the flavor of these plantain chips - it's a Nutty flavor, almost like cashews, except more subtle. I've been snacking on these frequently and I think it's a healthy snack - I've had no stomach issues, in fact I'm sure it's beneficial to the digestive system because it's high in fiber and isn't greasy at all. I like these better than potato chips, which always make me feel icky after I've eaten a lot of them. The expiration date is 11/2022 - kind of soon and I don't know if that's typical of this product. I think they're delicious and at $12.99 for a one pound jar, I'd order it again.

I've never had plantain chips before and thought this would be an interesting way for me to try something new and share the experience with my grandchildren. We were all pleasantly surprised by the texture, flavor, and crunch. We'll be keeping a supply on hand.

I love plantain chips but haven't had this brand before. Both myself, my husband and daughter all loved the flavor of these chips overall, and they arrived in great condition, nice and fresh.

These plantain chips are excellent and hard to stop eating. They are as good as any others I have tried. The bottle prevents them from getting smashed during transport. These are crunchy but not hard; they are perfect for dips or salsa too. Some saltiness but not overdone.

I honestly didn't know what to expect with these. I'm always looking for crunchy, salty snacks to satisfy that craving when I get it. These do just that. They're crunchy, but not so much that they hurt my teeth. They're lightly salted, which is wonderful, because I don't like super salty snacks that make me want a gallon of water right then. I don't get much of any flavor other than the salt. I'd call them a little on the bland side, BUT I sometimes like that. I don't always want robust, in-your-face flavor. There's a lot of chips in the container, so you get plenty. If you're looking for a different kind of crunchy snack, you might enjoy these!

These are pretty good-tasting plantain chips: Nice and crispy, with a suitable amount of oil, some salt. They are a nice alternative to the same-old of potato chips.That said, they're far from health food. They contain 153 calories per 30g (per the label), which works out to 144 calories per ounce. That's slightly lower than a one-ounce serving of standard full-fat potato chips (around 160 calories per ounce) but somewhat more than your standard reduced-fat potato chip (around 130 calories per ounce). Bottom line You won't pick these for health reasons--you'll pick them if you want something a bit different. (Plantains do have a bit more fiber than potato chips).You get 28oz in the jar, which works out to considerably more per ounce than decent-tasting plantain chips typically run at the big chain chips and nuts place. You do get the nice reusable jug with the carrying handle, though.On the whole, I like this. I don't find them to be appreciably better than other plantains I've had, but they taste fresh and crispy and if you have a plantain hankering, these will hit the spot.

The chips come in a nice reusable jar.They don't have a lot of taste. They have a nice texture, though, so it would be easy to eat a lot of them while engrossed in a movie. I like a little more flavor, so I doubt I would get them again.

In the description, they boast about non gmo, all natural, no trans fats, etc. However, they are not so transparent about the one bad thing. The chips are fried in unhealthy vegetable oil instead of coconut oil like they should be. You have to zoom in on the photo of the back label to realize this. To me, this is deceptive but I should know to read labels carefully. I don't recommend this product or this company.

Very happy with the product.If you are trying to loose weight,I don't recommend this snack,because it'svery hard to stop eating the chips.But then again,banana belongs to fruit family,so it's healthy food,right ?
