Anthony's Organic Tapioca Flour Starch, 5 lbs.: Good quality tapioca starch/flour. The opening on the package doesn't close well, but I have it in another sealable container, so it's safe from spills, etc. Also, a bit pricey, but the local source was out, and now I've got plenty for awhile.

Good for Brazilian tapiocas. Highly recommended. The package doesn't close very well, bc the product is so dry that dries the seal, but it's good product.

It's almost impossible to make dough cuz it's runny. Otherwise tastes good!

It works well enough but its super expensive, I just saw this in the store(different brand) for like half the price!

I have used more than half of the bag trying to make tapioca pearls and after 6 recipes I still do not have pearls. The ingredients say cassava, I am guessing that you don't need the whole plant to make pearls. I am sure it can be used for other recipes, but it did not work for what I intended. It will not form a kneadable dough. It comes together very hard/dry and then will melt into a puddle on the cutting board. There may not be anything wrong with this product, but you might want to keep looking if you want to boba tea.

wanted to try this tapioca flour to make sweat potato balls but it turned out too chewy and gets hard very quickly. realized on the back that it says cassava flour... didn't know they were interchangeable words. If you want to make taro or sweat potato balls, I think Bob's Red Mill Finely Ground Tapioca Flour works better. The balls I made with Bob's flour had the correct consistency/chewiness.
