Mission: The mission of in the gap is to train and equip youth and young adults to effectively influence children, model integrity, be positive leaders, and passionately love Jesus Christ.

Target demographics: elementary children develop positive character through character education classes and after-school Bible Clubs which will empower them to become our next generation of world-changing leaders.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, volunteers gave 15,999 hours of their time to pour into the lives of so many. By God’s favor and blessing our teams were able to minister in 30 different elementary schools and touch the lives of over 11,000 children across Oklahoma City! We were also able to reach an additional 6,500 children in Dallas, Houston, and St. Lucia through children’s programs and a mission’s trip. Over 17,500 children were touched through the work of In The Gap in 2016.

Geographic areas served: Greater Oklahoma City areas, Dallas, Houston, International areas (India and St. Loucia, in 2015-2017)

Programs: Character education classes in elementary schools and positive after-school Bible Club programs.
