I took a leap of faith on this Air hammer before buying an over priced snap-on hammer.All of my co-workers insisted no other hammer would come close to a snap-on 3050 super duty, and not to waste my money.I work as a trailer mechanic, so this air hammer is used daily on 1/4 rivets, chipping, and punching them out of trailer panels, knocking loose old ass bolts, and bucking 1/4 stainless rivets with ease, and fast.I was very worried my co-workers were correct and I was actually throwing my money away. I can confidently say that this Air hammer has no noticeable difference from a snap-on 3050 as i've used my co-workers. The snap-on does have a variable level setting knob, this one does not.It has excellent trigger control, very easy to start light, and ramp up smoothly to full power.Same weight and feel as the 3050.I am now only worried about how long this hammer will continue to hit as hard as it does, I've currently had it for 3 weeks. Will update this review if it does lose it's power. Hope this review helps fellow heavy duty industrial workers make their decision.

This air hammer is absolutely perfect for the job. Removed big bolts with a small craftsman air compressor with 90 lbs psi.,4 cfs.

Worth the money

Barrel falling apart and working intermittently with less then a hour run time. No sure why so cheaply made. When oil added all it does is bog down the tool and makes the problem worse

Extremely happy I got this instead of Snap-On’s pneumatic hammer. Saved a lot more money and this tool is just as good if not better. Ball joints and seized bolts are no match for this air hammer lol

This is THE air hammer to buy. Just need to get your own bits the bits aren’t good, but the impact gun itself is worth it by far

I was skeptical at the price, I've used these tools before and they have to be durable. I was pleasantly suprised, it hasnt broken yet, durable and affordable.

This hammer is great and has awesome power. I say it's better than the snap-on hammer they got and it's a bit lighter too. Matco is also no match for this one and the price is even better. Don't fret just get this hammer.

Works really well

Of the six air hammers I have had over the years. They all made a lot nose but not mush push.This I R hammer has lots of push. Put a hammer bit in it and it makes metal move.This is a good air hammer to have.

I work as a mechanic with over 40 years of experience. My old Air chisel crapped out and I needed a new one pronto! My co-worker had this model and he highly recommended it- I used it twice and figured this was the one for me (besides- it's Ingersoll Rand!). I ordered it up and two days later there it was! I was quite pleased with the packaging- several very useful bits and a really nice case to store them in. So far, the air chisel hasn't let me down- time will tell if it's worth the money but I'm guessing it will be.

Doesn't vibrate nearly as much as others. Pretty quite compared to others. But don't let that fool you. It's powerful enough to get the job done. On par with snap on version but much more quite and comfortable to use. Saves your wrist from vibration impact etc

Works great. Ordered because I had a bolt rusted in a bushing I couldn’t beat out with a sledge and this thing with a flat face bit had it out in seconds.

The tool lives up to the advertising. However, the bits are not as durable as one would like. The first time I used the wedge bit it snapped a fin clean off. My experience has proved the tool has great power and has paid for itself in 2 days

Use daily and packs a punch. Can’t really go wrong with ingersoll products.
