I'm a preschool teacher and I use this as a hands on teaching tool for my young students. It is durable.

Even though the Praying Mantis only has 3 life stages, Insect Lore included the egg case as 2 stages which my son loved. Very happy with the quality of this set.

These sturdy plastic demo pieces helped us explain the mantis life cycle to our kids. Along with the live ootheca, they helped complete the lesson.
