I love this board! Its everything I needed. I would recommend using a non skid cloth under if you are kneading or rolling dough as it does move a little bit (or maybe Im just too rough, I dont know. Haha.) Its beautifully made and I keep it oiled up every other use and its still shiny and smooth. And its beautiful just sitting on the counter as a staple piece. Its big enough to roll out pie dough, just to give a size reference.

I love this cutting board for both its looks and its functionality. The wood grain and tone are very beautiful and rich looking. Functionally it holds on to the front of the counter with the front lip and prevents spills off the back with the back lip - and it is reversible from fully smooth surface to surface with edge juice / gravy groove. It made a positive visual and practical difference in my kitchen - well worth the money.

This brand is amazing! I own several of their products and they're second to none! The wood is a high quality that looks expensive and performs excellently. My husband is a huge fan of smoking and grilling so the need for a quality carving board is high. This one in particular is great for long lasting use! Its easy to clean, is large enough to hold meats and sides, and doesn't crack! One piece of advice: make sure you follow the care instructions. We oil the boards every few uses to keep the boards from cracking or getting mould on it. Happy cooking!

Not positive how the acacia will hold up but it looks pretty, a little rough in the milled out sections. Using some fine sand paper to knock the rough bits down and then will seal with carnauba (and a heat gun) or some other long lasting oil/wax. Only need it 2-4 times a year so mostly it sits pretty. If I had my way I would have some metal spikes (or removable grip pad like the Memphis board), preferably a removable ring, that would make it perfect.

This item was a gift to my husband for our 6th wedding anniversary. Ironwood gave me the impression that this carving board insert was made of iron. It isn't iron, it's plastic. It's still a beautiful piece. We haven't used it to carve anything yet. Hopefully it works as if it were iron.

I bought 1 a few years ago for myself, no more meat juices spilling over the cutting board. Took me months to find a board with such deep wells. Since then I've ordered 2 more for friends to give their wives, and 1 this year for my daughter! She Loves it!

I purchased this cutting board for my husband as a gift. He absolutely loves it. It does a great job of catching and saving all of the meat juices. He's even received compliments while serving our friends and family members. Beautiful, sturdy, and useful chunk of wood.

I didn't know a carving board could be sexy, but man, oh, man! This one sure is!! It's exactly as described in dimension (length, width, thickness, height), finish, and features. The placement of the feet to allow the board to be tipped to drain juices to the reservoir is genius! The thing that's the most surprising and impressive is how incredibly buttery smooth it is!! NOTE: this just arrived today (two days before Thanksgiving). I'll update after I've actually used it. But, as it stands, I'm really impressed and very pleased with this purchase.
