A snap crimper die and base welded to nice, knock-off vise grips - the welds are good and the parts are almost centered, good enough and even I made them work

Some people were complaining?? Nothing to complain about heads welded to a very sturdy vice grips. Weld was spot on in alignment with the snap head and female.Easy to use will last a lifetime. Previously I bought one of those cheap kits and the arms bent almost immediately..

This worked well to install a new carpet in my boat. I did puncture a hole before applying the snap, and the trick about clicking then twisting and re-clicking saved us. Thank you! For a project where you may not be working close to the edge of the material, I would recommend having a manual snap-installer on hand. The neck on this one was short, which made it hard to work with if we were more than an inch from the edge of the carpet.

Must have good grip to squeeze the snaps. The little hammering tools will not work with the heavy duty material and snaps for boat covers. These pliers are a must. Worked great once I did a couple. I had about 60 snaps for a 24' pontoon.

They are a little hard to squeeze, but I've never used one of these tools. I'm installing snaps in a new piece if carpet for my boat. The tool will do the job plus strengthen my grip n the process.

Easy to use and presses the snaps perfectly. Saved me a couple hundred bucks versus having the canvas shop replaced the broken snaps on my boat cover.

These are very simple. Just a set of vice grip pliers with snap dies welded to them, but they work very well. Very sturdy.
