Used it to get a broken off spark plug on a Nissan Altima. It was stuck in there good. The bit does show some wear after first use but still useable. It was completely worth cost of whole set to get that plug out without having to take tow in to a shop.I did have to buy a socket to tap adapter set. To use with 3/8 drive socket to get enough torque.

If you have a broken car antenna that you cant get the threads from the old one out of the hole to put the new one I. This will do the trick! You want to use a bit smaller than the diameter of whatever tip-off are drilling into, this case its an antenna so I used the smallest bit included. Into my power drill and remember to use reverse mode or it will NOT cut into the object.. take your time and go slow, you only need to drill down ever so slightly once you switch bits to the extractor, go nice and slow upland it should extract with no issues. Now you can installe our new antenna and keep this reverse drill bit extractor set for the next household problem you face. Would recommend as long as your not doing quite large fasteners. You may have to upgrade to the larger size drill bit set. But for your smaller needs this IS what you want

A lot of the bad reviews might be from people using this incorrectly. Use a punch to give yourself a center, Make sure you're drilling COUNTERCLOCKWISE. And use a tap handle to extract by hand (again, counterclockwise).

I purchased this extractor set to remove two badly rusted screws from a grill so that I could replace the burners. The bits were sharp and very hard tool steel. The only problem is that they don't come with a T-handle. After drilling each hole, I lightly hammered the extractor bit into the hole, and then gripped it with pliers. It worked, but a T-handle would have made the job a lot easier, as there isn't much to grip on the small extractor bits. Good quality bits though, and I would definitely recommend.

It did what it was supposed to but on my second bolt I needed to extract, the bit broke in half and had to use the next smallest bit to finish the job. Good value for the money if you have the time and know how to get it done and only need one bolt extracted.

This is a pretty solid set of reverse bits. They have lasted through 4 removals so far, but I can see the bits are starting to wane. I've been using three of the bits consistently. Again, time will tell, but so far so good.
