Works awesome!! I had a spark plug that the previous owner had stripped which became my problem. Standard deep-well socket wouldn't catch, and I was ready to pull the head. Found this here and in less than a minute the plug was out. Big savings of time and $$$$$....

The sizes offered in this kit are not displayed. I needed a 5/16 stud removal tool and thought this kit would have at least that small of a tool. Turns out you need to spend a lot more money to get it. Buy the roller lock type extractors , they're foolproof.

exactly what i was looking for and expected. only tried it on one very hard to reach spark plug. did not work, but we believe spark plug is OEM from 1997. My mechanic wont even risk trying to remove it.

Works well to grab onto stripped bolts. Just a little smaller than the regular size. Good tool to have in hand.

I used this to remove a rounded spark plug in a 1995 mazda miata and I tried everything else I possibly could only this took it out first try!

The 5-piece set does NOT include the 3/4" socket! It only goes up to 16mm, which is useless to me since I need an 18 or 19.<br /><br />Also upon trying to use it, the biting edges very quickly began to strip out. What use is a stripped bolt remover socket if the socket strips?

It did a beautiful job extracting a broken spark plug from my 2003 Kia Van. Without this tool, it would've been impossible! I would definitely recommend to any DIY mechanic.

Saved my Supra!<br />These are amazing. I rounded off a very hard to reach exhaust nut on my 97 supra. The nut was 14mm but I had rounded it down to nothing. Tried many extractors. Nothing worked as the stud was fairly long. Found a video on these and they work!!! I am so glad to have found them. No heat was used only penetrating oil and these deep well extractors. Great product! Saved me hundreds!!

Worked well in the removal of the stuck rounded head nut on the engine stud. Did require a light tap to "set" the gripping part of the socket, but once locked on - it did the job....good to have in the tool box for that rounded head day!

Most of Irwin's tools have been exceptional, durable and quality centered. The bolt-grip deep well socket set is no exception. I've owned the standard well, regular bolt-grip set now for 6 years and its worked perfect for stripped bolts. This set is identical in quality to the old set I've used. So far, I've used this set to loosen up a stripped bolt on a spark plug for an older truck of a family member. Worked perfectly, snugging down on the bolts corner edges and popping that old plug loose. The deep well slipped right over top of the spark plug without a hitch. A+++
