This kit is a great bargain and comes in a cool Velcro pack that allows me to keep track of each bit The bits worked well and did exactly what I expected them to do The one thing that would make this kit even better is an extension

Great qualityIn the picture I saw the 17 piece set came in a traditional open pocket sorting roll of cloth blue in color of course with Irwin logo What I received was a thousand times better: A molded plastic insert attached to a heavy duty canvas backing with rivets on which 17 molded hexagonal receptor slots were set Each bit clicks in and out of the holder I love when good design is applied to cases and holders it really makes a difference I always end up losing bits because a loose pocket doesnt seem like that much of a home Theres something about 17 clickable SLOTS that just yells replace me when youre finished I havent lost a bit since and have used the tool about 5 times A new personal record for how disorganized and absent minded with that sort of thing I am

I guess I am getting lazy I used to sharpen spade bits until they were worn down at least a half inch These are a great value and its easier to buy a set every 5-10 years than sharpen the ones that get the most use Buying the full set can cost the same as 3 or 4 replacements

This is a great bit set I have a small workshop in my basement and Ive been using Irwin brand drill bit for a while now You cant go wrong with this set It has a good variation of sizes and the price is good This new design seems like it will stay sharper longer too
