I really like this spice and it's fresh because the aroma hits you upon opening the top! I used to use Italian spice on Italian recipes but I like the blend of herbs so much that I add it to many other dishes now and to salads, egg salad, popcorn even (i sprinkle vinegar and olive oil on top of air-popped popcorn) then I add Italian Seasoning and/or a bit of Rani mild curry. It's yummy and I don't miss the salt, YaY.
