Results: I've Been Mended Organization founded by CEO & Program Director Daphney Sims-Washington is a spin off of the late Pastor Evangelist Ethel P. Sims Organization Charity Helping Hands that was founded in 1975 by the late Pastor Sims her mother. Charity Helping Hands Feed, clothes & house the needy from 1975 until the passing of Pastor Ethel P. Sims in 2002I've Been Mended Founder had been doing free charity work, feeding & clothing needy & providing free events in the Joliet area out of her own means since the passing of her Mom. 501c3 was applied for & it was approved April 18th 2018 Ive Been Mended was formed to carry on the legacy of Daphney's. & "The Sims Girl" Mother. Daphney along with the 3 V. P's her sisters Demetria Sims, Julie Sims Hatton (Jeff Hatton) & Board Members Ronald Royster (Treasurer), Marquon Fleming, Leslie Jones Hampton, Darlene April will be providing many services to the Joliet, IL and surrounding areas. Keep your eyes open as they strive to provide more services to help people less fortunate.
