Got some used fish tanks ( 20g) and the plastic bulkheads did not fit. These seem to work well

Very good quality.Inside rubber gasket is slotted to fit inside channel.Outside gasket is composite to allow less friction in tightening.I used it to create a drain for an aluminum tank where none previously existed.Love the interior and exterior threading concept. Exterior is for hose fitting, interior is 1/2 FIP for a plug, valve, etc.Works great!

I used it for a pig waterer in a plastic barrel but the gasket is to thin and soft, it deforms easily and you cant get it water tight.

Put in 55 gallon, blue, food safe barrel to deliver water to pigs. Using with auto pig water extension.

for a product like this the quality did not need to be this good, this was like food grade or aerospace level we just used it for a hose

I tinker with more parts than one could ever imagine. I'm always on the search for the best of the best. I appreciate quality and thoughtfulness in design. These stainless fittings have both. The oring gasket is exclusive to rainpal. The shape and fit is absolutely beautiful. The rubber gasket does not exceed the diameter of the bulkhead fitting like others do. I nerd out over this stuff and this is the best money can buy. Stop your search and buy this.

Found these and they are nicely made out of stainless steel. I drilled the hole needed slightly larger than the threads so that when I tighten the Easter and nut there was a good seal. Using it on a water tank.

Used this as a drain at the base of a hydroponic garden setup. The build quality is excellent. Gaskets seat well when tightened. Garden Hose threads are nice and sharp and connect to hose fittings without leaking.

The drill size for the hole is non standard so good luck finding a drill bit that's the right size in your collection. I undersized the hole and then took a rotary tool and enlarged it a bit. Minus one star for that. Otherwise, they work great.

The barrels we bought were poorly designed and relied on the pipe threads to hold the faucet into the surface of the plastic. Obviously this only lasted a year to two. After numerous repair attempts I finally checked on line and found these. I cleaned one barrel and installed the adapter. So far it works great.
