I bought them to replace the tubes in my Spider Valve. They worked better than the originals that came from the factory. More power clarity.

What a differenceI replaced the JJ's in my 1996 Peavey duel 212 classic series tube amp and totally woke it up besides the tubes I had in there they were old Made weird noises replacing them with JJ's wow like I said totally made a difference sounds like I just bought it brand new I will be purchasing more tubes from JJ and the price was awesome guitar center won it over $200 And being a musician on a budget this was 100 perfect

Arrived intact in 3 days from the east coast. I am on the west. Excellent packaging. Tubes appears to be procured from and matched by Apexmatching.com with current and transcond information via stickers on the taped together JJ boxes and on the tube bases themselves. Dropped them in, let them warm up, checked for the glow, hit the standby switch and my 93 Blues Deville 4 x 10 is back in action. Sounds great! Recommended output tube replacements from a great retailer!

I got these to replace some old power tubes in a Hot Rod Deluxe. The old tubes didn't break up very early and these break up much sooner. They're very sensitive to your attack and can give you clean, glassy tones or grit and bite. I definitely like these better than the ones I got from a small seller on Reverb.

I haven't used them in an amp yet, but they look fine, and test good on the tube tester.

Had JJs before, very good quality. Replacing in a 3120 Peavey.

Swapped out factory tubes in a mid-90s Hot Rod DeVille with these after experiencing some low level static-y sounding white noise, kind of like a radio station not quite tuned in. All noise gone now, tone is clean and clear. I'm sure there are more expensive tubes out there, but these are fabulous for this weekend warrior musician. Highly recommend!

I was looking to buy Groove Tubes from Sweetwater but a rep told me they would not be back in stock until late July, so I decided to try these JJs.I put them in my trusty Peavey Ultra Plus and they put out impressive tone plus I barely had to adjust my EQ to keep the sound I like.I'm aware you're supposed to have the amp biased after replacing tubes but I decided to jam without doing so since the amp had the same 6L6GC type before. So far, so good with several hours of use.Overall, these tubes are quite impressive and offer good value as other brands may be $40 more expensive. I didn't rate longevity of course because the tubes haven't been used and abused for very long yet, so if I remember I'll update this review in several months.As a side note, I also replaced the ceramic fuses in the amp. These tubes have such versatility, especially in a 5150 with bias mod. Fantastic tone.

Replaced all my power and preamp tubes in my old vypyr 120 2x12, completely brought that amp back to life sounds amazing now, actually these JJ's sound better than the Ruby tubes that were in it before, they didn't make this amp sound near as good as it does now, will definitely buy again

The packaging leaves a lot to be desired. They came packed together and wrapped in bubble wrap, but then packed into a much bigger box without any extra packing. Pretty risky move, there, but they work great. My amp is absolutely screaming now.

JJ'S are known for their high power and deep bass compared to other brands and these are no exception, these are my first choice for fender type amps when not using NOS
