I don't understand. The reviews were good, I used it today and it's worthless. It's just clear liquid like water, no holding power! I tried squeezing tube to mix it up but no help. Still looking for a holding product like my joico used to be before the price spike. No pun intended.

Just a small dab after freshly washed hair, rub about a dime to nickel sized amount into palms. Rub your palms together and scrunch it into parts of your hair that you’d like to keep in place or smooth it over areas you want to slick back. It’s light but keeps hair in place.

Are usually use Joico which is a thicker gel. I have very short hair and think in the future I will continue using Joico but this is a good alternative for a slightly lighter hold. It’s very liquidy so it almost pours out of the tube which makes it spread easily through your hair but you have to be careful of not wasting product.

I have natural curly hair and live where it is very humid. This product controls frizz and defines my curls.

Haven't found anything better than PM so far. A bit more expensive compared to other hair gel but I think it's worth it.

Product washes out easily and hair does not feel sticky or heavy the day after applying. Apply to roots first. Have used this and Freeze and Shine hairspray for over 20 years on fine, colored treated hair. Doesn’t dry out the hair.

So I have long curly thick hair. And I am allergic to everything. I am so sensitive that some smells give me an instant headache. And some products make my scalp itch. Or trigger my contact dermatitis. I am in a weird situation. I am not able to take care of my curls as I would like because I have to wash my hair everyday...Anyway. This gel is so nice. It brings out my curls, doesn’t have a strong smell and like other Paul Mitchell products it does not bother my skin.I use it on wet hair and let me hair dry naturally. (frizz happens if I try to dry with hairdryer)

Absolutely love it! I use it in my wet and dry hair after washed and/or washed/blow dried. I personally find it does better applied after hair is dry. Jmo

Excellent product that I've been using for years. The 4 star rating is for the sellers packaging. It's great that you put these in individual plastic bags, but here's a hint. Actually tighten the caps before you put them in bags. The bags did contain the mess though.
