I have always had thin hair and have used countless gels and hairsprays over the years to give me lift and to aid in the styling of my bangs. This sculpting gel is my favorite ever since I first tried it years ago. I absolutely don't live without it. I use it every day and even though it provides a firm hold your hair is still manageable, not sticky, and easy to work with. You can easily brush through your hair after the gel is set and it isn't brittle or damaging to your hair and looks very natural. The best part is it leaves no build up, it washes clean and leaves no residue which is very important to the health and manageability of your hair. I bought the big bottle because I use it every day and it's a great deal and will last a very long time as you don't need that much to give you the results you want. I highly recommend this product for beautiful, natural looking results that will wash clean even when used on a daily basis.

To call this a gel is sort of a misnomer. It's more of a lotion, but it works like a gel. Not sticky and doesn't weigh my fine hair down. Been using Paul Mitchell for years. Recommend!

This is my first time purchasing this gel. It has a very light scent and is easy to spread through your hair. I would take care when dispensing the gel because it is very liquid. I wasn't prepared and squeezed the tube and a ton of gel came out! I was very happy with how my hair turned out, and loved that the gel was not sticky or tacky. I would highly recommend this hair gel for light weight hold, just be careful when dispensing. You don't need to use much either which is great!

Super light product but with a medium-strong hold. Good for keeping hair straight or bringing out waves. Works really well when paired with a little bit of a conditioning oil such a Kitoko.Only caveat: If stored top-side down, the product may leak out of the top, and it will definitely come flowing out - in a huge quantity that you don't need - when you flip open the lid.Store with the flip-cap up, and this will help you control how much you dispense when you open the tube, and will prevent really hard to clean up leaks on your bathroom countertop or in your drawer/medicine cabinet (hair gel is a pain in the butt to try to clean up!).

I don't understand. The reviews were good, I used it today and it's worthless. It's just clear liquid like water, no holding power! I tried squeezing tube to mix it up but no help. Still looking for a holding product like my joico used to be before the price spike. No pun intended.

Just a small dab after freshly washed hair, rub about a dime to nickel sized amount into palms. Rub your palms together and scrunch it into parts of your hair that you’d like to keep in place or smooth it over areas you want to slick back. It’s light but keeps hair in place.

Are usually use Joico which is a thicker gel. I have very short hair and think in the future I will continue using Joico but this is a good alternative for a slightly lighter hold. It’s very liquidy so it almost pours out of the tube which makes it spread easily through your hair but you have to be careful of not wasting product.

Product washes out easily and hair does not feel sticky or heavy the day after applying. Apply to roots first. Have used this and Freeze and Shine hairspray for over 20 years on fine, colored treated hair. Doesn’t dry out the hair.
