One of the window blind hold downs had broken causing the window blinds to no longer retract/open. This product works well as replacement for the broken hold down and the blind now retracts/opens. It was a bit of a learning curve for me that I addressed by first measuring the broken hold down to ensure this replacement was the correct length. Secondly by playing with the tension in the hold down cord, after installing this replacement product, so that the window blind easily opened and closed. I would definitely buy this product again if more of the hold downs were to break.
