Mission: Hands Across the Bay was developed to positively impact the lives of as many Tampa Bay residents as possible. We assist and mentor hardworking families in need, advocate for change, support other organizations, and spread love with various acts of kindness. Through our work, we hope to inspire our community to become more compassionate, empathetic, and charitable.

Target demographics: Families in crisis to no fault of their own.

Geographic areas served: Tampa, FL

Programs: Everyday a family is impacted by unpredictable circumstances, such as unexpected loss of employment, accidents, disabilities, or violent crimes. Hands Across the Bay understands during these times of crisis, families can feel lost. This is where our team steps in to provide assistance to stabilize their homes. Through community partners, we have provided families with resources to cover virtually every aspect of their needs. We recognize stabilization often extends further than financial aid, which is why we are devoted to provide mentorship, guidance and counseling throughout their journey. Hands Across the Bay stabilizes Tampa Bay Area families who fall into the gap of services within our community. The individuals we assist are not just sitting around waiting for a hand out; they are actively working to get back on their feet and desire transformation in their lives. We provide a hand up and view each dollar spent as an investment into the families we serve.
