Mission: It was Jack's mission to visit other children in the hospital or in treatment to hold a hand, share a toy, or to support them saying, "Tough things make you stronger. "The JackStrong Foundation seeks to continue giving superhero strength to children fighting childhood cancer. Through community initiatives, we will raise funds to bring encouragement and bravery to families affected by this disease while also raising awareness. We will continue Jack's legacy with compassion and determination. The Jack Strong Foundation provides financial support to families that have children that have been impacted by Childhood Cancer. We personally know what the diagnosis of your child to cancer can do to the financial stability of a family. Medical bills, medicine not covered by insurance, medical supplies, lodging for out of state treatments, traveling expenses, and meals. Many times, one or both parents need to stop working to care for their child in treatment. The Jack Strong Foundation will provide the much needed financial and moral support to ease some of the burden from parents so they can remain focused on their child.

Programs: Financial Assistance: The Jack Strong Foundation provides financial assistance to families, with financial needs resulting from expenses associated with their child’s cancer treatments. We will work with donations received to fill as many applications as possible. All applications received will be reviewed and processed by the board members of the foundation. Upon approval, we will provide grants of up to $500.00 per family/per year. (This program is currently limited to the East Coast of the United States as well as our home state of West Virginia, Ohio and also Michigan)We also offer Jack's Brave Bags : To help the heroes be a little more brave while enduring cancer treatments, The Jack Strong Foundation provides Jack's Brave Bags. As children go through treatments, many hours are spent in a clinic, or days in a hospital bed. If your child could use a little extra courage, and a bit of Superhero bravery, please go to our website to submit an application. We would love to share a few of Jack's favorite things that made his stay just a little easier. Let us help bring out the inner Superhero in your child.
