Mission: JHOSI provides prevention and empowerment programs to youth and young adults male and female. We strive to enhance the lives of individuals through enrichment programs that serve and inspire individual advancement. Our programs result in the increase of self confidence, educational and personal development.
Results: Through these programs, JHOSI seeks to achieve short and midterm outcomes for participants such as increased self-esteem, trusting relationships, leadership skills, and civic engagement. Building upon these short/midterm outcomes and JHOSI’s advocacy work, JHOSI seeks to achieve long-term outcomes including decrease violence/gunviolence, high school graduation and college/military enrollment, and sustained civic engagement.
