Well made and great deal

We used these for a porch swing, very very sturdy. Held up it's weight max capacity when the swing didn't! Swing broke, but the hardware remained. Might buy some for indoor swings as well

Bought this for a homemade porch swing I did for my in-laws. Obviously I don't want any accidents with them, so I got something sturdy and durable. Probably more than I really needed, but as it goes, “rather be safe than sorry”.

I have beams that go across my deck to hold sun shades and I added 2 swings for grandchildren. I saw these knowing they are made well and would seem smooth for the swings to go back and forth with. They are perfect and so sturdy. Well worth te purchase.

This is the second time that I have purchased these hangers. The first time, in 2019, I bought a pair and installed them for a toddler bucket swing. Excellent choice. Now I'm hanging two regular strap swings (under a Patio beam) and I purchased a set with 2 pairs of hangers. The price per pair is still less than what I paid for the one pair in 2019! Extremely strong and sturdy and can hold more weight than we'll ever put in a swing.

Yes they are a bit pricey but how much is your peace of mind worth. They are well built and extremely durable. Rated at 500 Lbs each when properly installed, your kiddos will never out grow them.

They sent me a working piece that screwed in fine. The second piece wasn't built correctly and made it impossible to use your tools to screw it in. I tried to hand tight with a socket wrench as far as I could. But then they didn't give you enough room for the socket wrench and the bolt to drive it in. I will have to use a basic wrench to somehow try to finish driving the bolt into the wood. Picture attached.

Very sturdy. I didn't use the lag bolts that were included with these. I bought bolts and put them all the way through the cross beam for extra strength. They are very quiet. They have a nice bushing. I have had them up for about 6 months with no problems or squeaks.

First off, the swing hanger itself is great. It's heavy duty, and well coated to avoid any rusting. It comes with lag screws that can be used for a quick installation.However - here is the problem:Problem 1:The lag screws that it comes with have a cheap zinc coating on them - this would probably be fine if you are drilling into non pressure treated wood for indoor use. Given that this is meant for a swing set though, chances are that you are attaching the mounts outdoors to pressure treated wood. Pressure treated woo is highly corrosive and requires hot dipped galvanized screws/bolts to avoid corrosion. I initially installed the swing hangers with the stock hardware, and found that they started to rust and corrode after only a month.Problem 2:The lag screws are not a standard size, so you cannot simply swap these out for 1/2 hot dipped galvanized lag screws that you can get at Home Depot or Lowes. The holes in the swing hanger are too small to fit 1/2 hot dipped galvanized lag screws. So essentially you are forced to replace these almost 1/2 screws with 3/8 size hardware.Recommendation to the customer:If you are mounting to pressure treated wood, I recommend throwing out the hardware that comes with it, and replacing them with 3/8 galvanized bolts. I used bolts instead of screws because I had to size down and wanted the extra security of a bolt. Additionally, I already had the holes drilled for the almost 1/2 size screws so i could not use a 3/8 size lag screw.Some recommendations/ideas for the vendor:- Adjust the size of the holes in the swing hanger to accommodate 1/2 galvanized screws/bolts- Include galvanized hardware or don't include any hardware and tell the customer the size and type of hardware they should buy (likely galvanized if using pressure treated wood).

Hanging a porch swing near the edge of the porch. If the hangers fail someone's going to get severely injured so I was concerned about safety. NOT concerned anymore. These things are solid and smooth. GREAT buy! Not sure if they will hold up my ex-wife but they will hold up 2 full grown cows. :-)

heavy duty, will last a long long time!

These bad boys were easy to install for a swing set, and high quality. My kids are beating the hell out of them and no issues!
