I put bolts through a 4x6 instead of using the lag bolts that came with it. I did this because I was told it would be stronger and last longer. It made installation a little more difficult, but I would definitely buy these again.

Heavy duty, but 1 screw snapped during install. Not good reason for it to have snapped.

The lag bolts were really sturdy. Installed on a 4x6 beam. I decided to not use the included carabiner because it didn't look legit (too thin on the closed lock) and instead bough a sturdier d-link closed chain from the home store

These are decent, heavy-duty swing hangers. They include hardware, but that's actually why I knocked them down one star. The hardware included consists of lag bolts, which I would never recommend for an overhead application. I drilled though my top bar (4x6 PT lumber) and used through bolts with fender washers on the top end. Lag bolts can work loose over time, and the damage may not be obvious until the connection fails.

I've now gotten a second pair of these for my kid's swingset. The first have been there for 3-4 years and are still in great condition, and continue to work well. These appear to be the same, so I anticipate they will be just as good.They work well, swing quietly, and are heavy duty. Im very happy with them.

I use these when installing my custom built porch bed swings through Story Builds Woodwork. They hold extremely well and installation is a breeze, so much better than this screw eyes/hooks that don't hold as well and take longer to install.
