Mission: The foundation provides monetary grants to new york, connecticut, new jersey and tulsa area high school students who demonstrate academic achievement and a commitment to community service but lack the financial means to pursue a college education. In addition, from time to time, the foundation will provide financial assistance to other non-profits and community organizations whose primary focus is to further the educational, recreational and social development of children and families.

Programs: Provide scholarships for high school seniors' secondary education based on financial need and academic performance. Donations were made to various non profits whose mission and goals are compatible with the john l. Starks foundation.
