Excellent mount.

I used mine in a semi-portable mount for my Simrad GO7-XSE, so I can move it from boat to boat, and so I can remove it for outdoor urban storage. The base fit fairly well for the Simrad, although I did have to drill new holes.

I really like that you can rotate the mount with one hand. That is going to be very convenient.

I also wish that JohnnyRay would offer a blank, oversized base with no holes in it.

I have these on three boats allowing easy sharing of depth finders between them. The oldest is 15yrs and I have friends with mounts they have had for 25yrs and still going strong. If it does wear out or you have any problems Johnny Ray will take care of it, just call them.

love it , easy to mount my Helix 7, easy to move and disconnect for protection& safety. Just need the spacer if your wire come from below the stand. I made a spacer from a piece of Nylon quickly and easily.
