Sometimes the tool does not split the tubes. It could be irregularities in the tube side but its hard to tell. I like that you can change blades when they wear out.

Pretty cool tool for splicing cable. Lik that it allows cutting of different sizes. Works great. Makes it easier and makes the cuts cleaner.
