Truth be told, I bought this as a concealed carry shirt for wearing over an OWB holster and I bought it as a replacement for the old version of this brand's same shirt I was using for that purpose an embarrassingly high number of pounds ago. The old shirt has held up through years of all-weather use and I suspect this one might well do the same, as the quality (initially, at least) seems comparable. I wouldn't want to go outside in the heat of summer wearing this shirt routinely (being as it's black and slightly thick) but it does work to hide my body profile slightly and the thicker material means a slight breeze isn't going to blow the shirt back, potentially exposing the fact that I'm carrying concealed. For Fall-Spring, though, the material is probably fine on its own and it does seem like it would be a decent work shirt.

Fit very nicely. Sleeves are the perfect length and width for me- I'm 5'10” 150 lbs. with perhaps slightly broader shoulders for someone my size. Some might consider this shirt in a medium to be a bit long for a 5'10” person, but for me it was just right. Shirt is sturdy without feeling stiff or uncomfortable. Love the pencil pocket- it's a stable place to stick my driving glasses when I'm not using them! Best quality button down shirts I've found online, to be honest, and at an incredibly reasonable price. Buy with confidence!

I ordered a different shirt first. Returned it because it only had one front pocket. There's nothing fancy about this shirt. It has everything I needed - no surprises. Nice fit.

I like to wear this shirt over a thermal and Tshirt. I wear it as a replacement for a jacket. The material is thick but soft. Chest pockets are large enough for you cell phone. Very comfortable. Plan to buy another in a different color.1

The shirts are great and fit to size. The length is exactly what I was looking for and can't find in a store. It's nice to sit down and not have your shirt coming out from your backside. I'm definitely buying these again.

I really like this shirt. It fits perfectly, is a large and I usually get shirts in large. It appears to be rugged, but time will tell. I am a wood worker and like the way the tight weave sheds sawdust. The pockets are great for holding a marking knife, pencil, and small combination square - things I reach for all the time.

Large Tall fits my 5' 10” 180 frame perfectly. Longer tail stays tucked in. The material is on the heavier side so in the heat, the shirt stays in the closet. But the other 3 seasons, it's the first shirt I go to. Solid color with button down collar is not the easiest to find.

I wear this around the house or as a jacket over a t-shirt. I am a woman but I love these mens' shirts for casual at home wear. They wash up so nicely. Nice quality shirt.
