This is perfect for those chilly nights in San Francisco. The shirt is heavy duty but also soft enough to not appear or feel stiff. I bought burgundy--it's a great looking color.I wear a t-shirt underneath and prefer to keep it untucked.It's casually stylish--I'm going to order the forest green next.

Purchased for my grandfather as a gift and he wears it all the time. It fits him well and is much thicker than the standard (non-Riggs) shirts.

I like this shirt a lot. The only problem is I got the X-Large and it is large enough but the sleeves aren't as long as a normal extra large would be. It bugs me, the sleeves being a little short. Just a little, but other than that it's great. I am 6'3 195 lbs.. Normally an extra large shirt has sleeves long enough for me.

I have several similar shirts that I have had for years as these shirts last forever if you use for casual wear. Loved this shirt so much that after wearing it a couple of times that I went back and purchased two more colors!

If you are color blind, this is the shirt for you!Is it a faded purple or dusty burgundy or a soft eggplant color? Who knows, all I know it that it looks faded already, and almost like it is deciding to fade into a mauve or a lavender color but its not sure. I'm probably going to fall in love with it eventually, I hope!Great shirt!!! Heavy fabric!

I like the shirt. It is of a heavy fabric, great for cold days, and will wear well. I normally wear a medium shirt and the medium I received does seem just slightly small but not too small for me to wear - maybe next time I will order a large as I like roominess. I thought about giving it 4 out of 5 stars because of the size concern but decided that was being too critical.
