Think of these Gildan Men's Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirts (Style G2400) as old-fashioned cotton sweatshirts but not thick material. No elastic stretch. The surface is unfinished. Natural, casual wear. Too casual, I think, for wear under a sportcoat.I'm 155 lb., average/slim build and 5'8. I had to return the small size. They were just too small and tight. The medium replacements are about right. They haven't shrunk much with repeated washings and tumble dry.The neck hole is about right. Arm length is still good after washings -- though I wish they did not have the wrist bands. I tend to pull the sleeves up just below my elbows so it isn't a problem. The body is straight down (not form-fitted) so I tuck it in. Length is fine for that. Since they come in a two-pack, I might spend money on one, to have the body tailored to form-fit. Recommended.

Bought for my husband. Fits him as expected. Somewhat cheap fabric, but if you need just a few casual long sleeve t's these, will work just fine.

I'm 5'10, and 165. My chest is 41 in circumference, and that can be an in-between size. I bought the Large size and am happy with the fit. They are a little bit too big right out of the package, but with a wash and dry, they are good.

I love Gildan t-shirts - I always have. So I welcomed the opportunity to buy these online, instead of lucking-into them on some kind of souvenir t-shirt. I actually bought a souvenir t-shirt last year that was a Gildan Ultra Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt It was nice and soft, so I bought these. These are really rough and scratchy. I had to wash them 3 times with fabric softener soak cycle before I could stand to wear them. Even then, they were really scratchy. Disappointed - yes! Would I buy Gildan again - yes, because I've had such a good history with their shirts. Just be prepared to beat these on a rock or something before you wear them.

It's pretty comfy, except the end of the sleeves are stitched together weird; instead of meeting straight on, they're stitched at an angle, leaving a small v in the cuff. I also have longer arms than most, so the sleeve cuffs rise up my arms whenever I stretch out.I got them for work, so it doesn't matter to me, but if you're looking for something for that date on Friday, maybe don't get this one.
