Set up the first time was simple. Spent most of the time with the Wally. Once I screwed the Cable into the outside Trailer Port and then the other end of the cable into the King Tailgater and it came to life.

This has been a godsend since we installed this. Very simple to hook up. I did buy the tripod for it and do recommend it if nothing to keep the dish off the ground. I think putting it on the tripod actually helps with getting a better signal.

My rig currently has a Wingard Traveler on the roof but the turret motor quit working. Of course, it is out of warranty. When I figured out what I would have to do to fix it, not to mention the cost I decided to go with a portable unit. This unit was a breeze to set up and has worked flawlessly This unit is easy to move around and can be mounted on the roof either permanently or using a quick release bracket. However, for now I simply use a small foldable table to set it on. .

Have Dish at home and we use this in our travel trailer and have the same package as home. Dish is very easy to work with as we travel around

Satellite antenna works well on our 5th wheel on our first trip. You do need a good view of the southern sky with no obstructions for the antenna to work properly. We are happy with what we can get on the RV tv so far.

Do not spend your money on having a rv dealer take your money this is so easy to set up well worth your time and money if your looking for tv on the road very happy with this one

Most campgrounds you don’t get good reception on their cable hookups. It is so nice to watch the channels we get in our home at the campgrounds. Nice clear reception. Easy setup. Love it.

I replaced my old Tailgater (2013) with this one. The old one served me well but lately I was having problems locking in the satellites and getting to the main setup screen. Once I did, I needed to rescan every morning which was annoying. This one has solved those issues. After using my Dishpointer Pro app to see the satellites so I know where to place the Dish, I just connect the cable to the Tailgater, the other end of the cable to the Dish Wally receiver, and turn on the TV. The main screen comes up and I select the state and then scan. Bing-bang-boom! I'm watching all my channels. No longer do I have to rescan the next morning. Just turn on the TV and I'm good to go. I use the Tailgater on all my camping trips in a Class C rv. Note that I run the cable through a window directly to the Wally. I'm a happy camper!
