I replaced my old Tailgater (2013) with this one. The old one served me well but lately I was having problems locking in the satellites and getting to the main setup screen. Once I did, I needed to rescan every morning which was annoying. This one has solved those issues. After using my Dishpointer Pro app to see the satellites so I know where to place the Dish, I just connect the cable to the Tailgater, the other end of the cable to the Dish Wally receiver, and turn on the TV. The main screen comes up and I select the state and then scan. Bing-bang-boom! I'm watching all my channels. No longer do I have to rescan the next morning. Just turn on the TV and I'm good to go. I use the Tailgater on all my camping trips in a Class C rv. Note that I run the cable through a window directly to the Wally. I'm a happy camper!

Takes a few minutes to acquire satellite signal but after that it’s easy peasy. Just make sure you have a pretty good line of sight to the southwest hemisphere.

Works perfectly if you read the instructions on setup.Yes to get two TV's to work you need two DISH receivers.I agree with Mark below that if not installed as per the manual you may have issues.I also like the reviewer who said it went bad after two years.Must be you thought it can be thrown around and won't break.To finalize this DISH works great only if you read the manual before installing and use the equipment it says that will work.The Universe is made up with Protons, Electrons, Neutrons and Morons.Do you agree?

Pretty easy to install, but dishnet only works bankers hours, and half days on weekends. If you plan to get one, get it extremely early so you have time to install it. Takes a while

Several reviews of this dish are negative claiming Lousy choppy picture, no signal etc. If that's true it's because the person installing it didn't do it correctly or they don't have a clear aim of the southwest sky. Those things will happen if there are trees, power lines, utility poles, transformers, buildings, or and kind of signal obstruction. You simply move to a clear line of site. I've bought and installed two of these and have had no problem what so ever.

I was really hoping I could use this on 2 TV’s like it’s advertised and it sorta works. You can only watch channels on the Satellite that the main tuner is set on and when the main tuner switches satellites you usually loose the programming on the 2nd tuner. It is best if you want to have 2 TV’s to get 2 single tailgater’s.
