Fairly easy to install but be sure to get the adaptor plate in case it is needed along with the self-leveling sealer. Took me about an hour after preping and cleaning the roof area.

On our first camping trip in our new-to-us motorhome, we noticed that the old TV antenna leaked around it's crank when it rained, which was especially bad because the crank was directly above my wife's seat! On our way home we hit a wind gust and then heard a lot of rattling around up on the roof. After stopping and making a hot climb up on the roof I discovered the old antenna and mount hanging on by only a very rotted out antenna wire. I cut it loose and drove home. Next day I ordered this antenna and a mounting plate to (as I told my wife) fix the leak. Nice to say the leak is fixed and our new TV now gets a good signal. The only thing I did wrong with the install was to not test the antenna install dry before sealing it down with lap seal. Due to a poor antenna connector, it was totally dead on the first try, causing me to remove it (a sticky mess) and fix the wire. On the second try everything worked well. Perhaps we can give a real test on our next trip.

A direct replacement for what was OEM installed on the 2018 374TH Grand Design toy hauler. It picked up 60 channels when tested., The original one is somewhere on I-95. Still trying to figure out where it blew off, but the mount was intact. Only the swivel antenna piece went bye-bye. Very easy to install new. Read the directions several times so as not to screw it up. Easy, but must follow procedure.

My older RCA amplified antenna that I put on top of my RV has much better reception. The King Jack keeps losing signal. Not happy at all.
