Make sure the shelves you use are hardwood and not composites. Composites may sag with heavy items on the shelves.

I couldn't find the correct shelf supports for the HON metal bookcases we have, but I was able to pinch these enough to make them fit. They support the shelves well. I took a risk because the price was so good and am very happy that not only do I have what works, but I have enough to potentially add additional shelves, if needed.

This worked great for adding shelves to a safe. I also found a bookshelf I had wanted to add a shelf to also had the same looking track system, but these didn't fit as well in it, they wanted to keep springing out. Maybe that one was slightly different of a system, but they still worked.
