Though this style of shelf clips is available for a lower price at Lowe's (for example), those are not of quite the same quality as the original Knape Vogt 256. Sturdiness, ease of installation and removal, and general overall feel are important to me, and these genuine KV clips from this vendor did the job.

We inherited a bookshelf from the previous owner. Missing shelves looks all over town could not find these shelf clips. These work amazing hook right in and hold as my husband says is more than any shelf clip should

These worked perfect. I did have one knock out so if hit from the bottom they could be easily removed but they are very sturdy.
