ordered this same design but from a china based store. JUNK! This knape vogt design used better metallurgy and the dimple is so you cant get the clip to crush far enough to free itself and have the shelf fall! far superior quality. will only order this companies product in the future

These worked perfectly for some old metal shelving at an elementary school. I had no idea which size to buy so I went with the 256 because it seemed to be the most popular, and I'm glad I did because they fit easily and hold the shelves securely.

I had bought some others earlier and found they were not the quality of these. The reason I ordered these is because our commercial shelving built by a company included these with their cabinets. And they are super strong. Certainly worth the $2 extra.

So I finally got around to using these to install new shelves on a shelving system that was built in the 70s. Amazingly these are the exact same size and thickness as the originals. Snapped them in, put the shelves on, done! Totally worth the price.
