Mission: Kabod House International is on a mission to reduce poverty, restore dignity, increase self-esteem, improve mental and reproductive health, and deliver hope in the Chicago and south suburban Cook County area through our programs by providing free period products for women, girls, and those who menstruate through our Red-Pak Program, and assist parents with free baby diapers and wipes through our Dry Bottom Project program.
Target demographics: homeless women, mothers, fathers, low-income women and girls, female immigrants/refugees, and children/babies
Direct beneficiaries per year: Homeless shelters, individuals, elementary, middle schools, and junior high schools with period products, and parents with diapers and wipes.
Geographic areas served: Chicago and south suburban Cook County
Programs: feminine hygiene/period products; diapers and wipes for babies/infants
