safe program, and other kcmcc programs - safe provides immediate, and possibly long term, financial assistance to the spouses, children and/or dependent parents of sworn police officers, firefighters, and emergency services personnel killed in the line of duty in the missouri counties of cass, clay, jackson, and platte and the kansas counties of douglas, johnson, miami, shawnee and wyandotte.
