Mission: It is our mission to rescue horses to Liberty and Well-Being through compassionate care and natural environments. We specialize in the rescue of horses from cruelty, abandonment and neglect, most are pulled from "kill pens" bound for slaughter. Our rehabilitation philosophy is horse-centered and nurtures the Horse Within to return to a natural state of Liberty and Well-Being. Karuna works in the greater community with sanctuaries, animal advocates, forever families and local businesses who share our core belief that horses deserve a compassionate, natural environment.
