Isn't it great to have a children's book aimed at a slightly different audience? I am absolutely NOT into sports, but one day an eight year old boy was impossible to handle, so I handed him the book and told him I wanted him to review it for me. Worked like a charm. He's not a 34;reader34; but enjoyed this.

This book is so wonderful. I have three sons, ages 3-14, and they love it. We all love sports books so it was an obvious choice for us. My 5 year old suffers from Selective Mutism. Now, he has no hearing impairment, but he cannot speak in certain social environments. He can't even speak at school. Signing has always been an excellent activity for us. He can sign discritly to me when he can't speak. Books like this one help me show him that it's a great thing to be different he's not alone. James Earl Jones was a functioning mute until he was 14. Imagine if Darth Vader never spoke! Please kee these amazing books coming!
