Mission: We having in a common love for kayak fishing, and a deeper love due to Grace for Jesus Christ, we set forth to bring both of these loves to other men drawing them closer to Jesus by the means of our love for kayak fishing, the outdoors, and our foundation Jesus Christ. KFWC is a safe place where men can gather together to share one another’s burdens while developing a deeper more Christ-Centered walk. The metaphor for this walk is “Paddling Towards The Son” Matthew 4:19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ”

Results: Our community continues to grow. As of 10/31/21 we have 3678 members, we KFWC Ambassadors in 18 communities across the country, we are located in 13 states across the country including the District of Columbia

Programs: Kayak Fishing For Christ Redemption Weekends we believe when it comes to Men how they handle their internal issues is based on who they are surrounded by! KFWC Redemption Week-End is a program geared to bringing Men from all walks of life and background together with other Men in a safe and comfortable atmosphere where they can share and have breakthroughs in ways that do not happen when men isolating themselves from others. KFWC uses the medium of Kayak Fishing to bring these men together for one or two night weekend trips, 3-6 men along with KFWC volunteers whom will walk alongside them during these events. 1 Thessalonian 5:11 therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doingThese trips consist of a time on the water Kayak Fishing; in which each man can have some alone time yet knowing he is within reach of brothers around him. This time on the water allows men to become comfortable with one another thus allowing men to build relationships and friendships with one another which open doors to sharing about one’s personal issues. After a time on the water we will come back to shore to prepare for the evening dinner together. After dinner there will be a time to gather around the fire to debrief about the day’s events as well as to dig deeper into each man's struggles, needs, prayers, and hopes. KFWC Redemption Weekends will be a safe place for men to come together and developed new friendships, dig deeper into existing friendships, Grow in a more trusting relationship with God and others, and release the burdens held inside that create walls, anger, anxiety, which all lead to addictions of all kinds. James 5:16 Tell your sins to each other. And pray for each other so you may be healed. The prayer from the heart of a man right with God has much power.
