Product exceeded my expectations, great to have for any outdoorsman. The design makes heating/boiling water easy with a minimal amount of fire. The medium size makes about 3 cups in less than 3 minutes. With the cook top attachment you can heat food while boiling water.

Virtually everyone has liked their purchase of the KK , and its no wonder why. Hot, sterilized water is a must on any trip and this product line delivers! I chose stainless steel for its durability and for health reasons associated with aluminum. Sure it's a tad heavier but it's worth it to me. Water heats up so quickly, with a bare minimum of small sticks. You can also use a propane stove, trangia,etc so this kettle is versatile. Check on quantity of water held, and outside dimensions then make your purchase. You won't be disappointed. The videos don't lie:)

It is great for what it is. I would not use this for backpacking. Kayak camping maybe as a good alternative to always using my Whisperlite if there is room in the boat. There is definitely something more aesthetic about tending a small, efficient fire while making tea.
