Great and easy to use in my opinion ! I had to file bevel flat after using drill bit otherwise rubber washer didn't sit well, and air was leaking. Got the job done, saved money, and hoping for the fix to last a long time!

I had the classic broken TPMS valve stem failure this product is designed to fix. Recommend you watch the You Tube videos and decide if you have the necessary skills and tools to do the job successfully. I have a high speed drill and access to compressed air. All the other needed tools are in the package. The tricky part is tapping the remainder of the broken stem. It took me a long time to fully tap the stem properly and not break the tap or destroy the remaining part of the stem. If you have experience tapping metal, you will understand that part of this job. It may be more difficult if this is the first time for you! You can't use any lubricant during the tapping process so you must take your time and run the tap in very slowly only cutting a quarter to a half turn at a time and removing the tap to clear the cutting chips. You will need compressed air as blowing from your mouth will not do the job. It was helpful to remove the Schrader valve from the repair part and I test fit the piece several times so I knew that I had tapped the stem deep enough to make sure the o ring touches the stem to seal. Finally, I allowed the included thread lock to dry for an hour before refilling the tire with air. No leaks and a perfect repair. I understand that you may be able to have the valve stem replaced, however that requires the bead to be popped off the rim which requires more tools and effort than I was willing to chase. This repair is most likely cheaper than a service charge at a tire shop. I hope this repair will last until I need to replace the tire and I will have the TPMS replaced at that time. Good luck!

Bottom line if your cheap like me try this. But before you do verify it's your valve stem that is leaking and not leaking out at the same spot you put air in. That could be dirt or a loose valve stem. So a little dish soap in some water and dump it on and look for bubbles. It's easy to use if you know how to use a drill. Follow instructions, they work. And just an FYI. Most cars have a TPMS rest button if the error won't clear after inflating all tires and don't forget the spare !!! Goggle your make model and year to learn how to reset.

Received the item ahead of schedule, I took my time doing the repair, the little rubber washer I think was old or too week, it malformed even before reaching the required torque. I let it set for 30min. Inflated the tire to 35psi checked for leaks with soapy water, all good. Put the tire aside for 90min rechecked the air pressure which was unchanged , then reinstalled the wheel. All good. I don't see how anyone could have any problem with this if they take there time, follow the directions. All good.

It did what it said and followed the instructions as printed and the valve was repaired by me without any complicationsA great option to avoid to buy another one and program it, after some use I discovered that the valve works in out only and doesn't allow air to enter the tire, have to disassemble the valve in order to fill the tire to the desired pressure

Quick and easy permanent repair which will save hundreds of dollars over a conventional replacement of TPS Valve System and NO recalibration then needed as well .

Used for a damaged valve stem on 3d gen tacoma and did not work. After carefully following instructions and letting the threadlock dry for two hours the air still seaped out.

An unnamed national tire shop broke the wings off 2 of my valve cores then denied doing any damage. One valve core was leaking so I needed to find a solution rather than replace the entire TPMS sensor for $200. This kit worked a treat! It's very simple if you watch the instructional video...simply drill out the old valve core, tap new threads, then apply the included blue loctite to the new valve stem and tighten the new valve stem/core with the included torque tool. I replaced both damaged valve cores and ended up saving $350 by not having to replace 2 TPMS sensor units.3 month update - Repair is still holding strong with no evidence this cannot be used as a permanent solutionThanks for making this great product!
