Mission: Kennel to Couch (K2C) is a 501(c)3 dedicated to Pit Bull Adoption Advocacy. K2C’s core program, K2C Shelter Sponsorship, teams shelters and community partners to sponsor Pit Bulls in need of adoption. Upon adoption, our dogs receive the K2C Pibble Package at no expense to the adopting family. This package currently consists of:1.Free access to our training videos2.Free access to our resource library3.Discounted advanced online training courses4.Discounted Pet Insurance5.Free "Pibble Package" filled with treats, toys, and goodies to get our families started the day they adopt their new furever friendK2C partner shelters select the Pit Bulls who will receive our K2C Pibble Package based on who has been at the shelter longest, and our community partners provide the resources that make our package possible. The K2C Pibble Package provides the incentive for people to adopt the K2C sponsored dogs. This package ensures that our Pit Bulls receive the support necessary to stay in their new homes, reducing the chance of being returned to the shelter. By providing this sponsorship package post-adoption, we deepen the human-animal bond by relieving some financial stress and providing interactive training.

Target demographics: Kennel to Couch partners with shelters to sponsor the Pit Bulls that have been there longest.

Direct beneficiaries per year: in 2020 Kennel to Couch partnered with our second rescue and had our first ten dogs adopted!

Geographic areas served: Kennel to Couch is based in Harford County, MD with the goal of eventually expanding nationally.

Programs: Kennel to Couch teams community partners to sponsor pit bulls in need of adoption. Upon adoption, our sponsored dogs receive the K2C sponsorship benefits package at no expense to the family.
