Causes: Cancer

Mission: Kids & Art uses the power of the arts and creativity to mitigate stress, anxiety, and trauma induced from diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cancer and other critical medical conditions.

Results: In 2022 we will deliver 1,800+ ArtKits for pediatric patients at hospitals locally at UCSF (SF/Oakland), Lucille Packard Children's, Stanford (Palo Alto), John Muir Health (Walnut Creek), Kaiser (SF/Oakland), and at 2,400 throughout the country, and are growing. We provide 10 monthly online art workshops and weekly Drop-in ArtRoom.

Target demographics: Children with cancer and their families

Direct beneficiaries per year: Pediatric cancer patients and families from 18 states.

Geographic areas served: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, our art programs support pediatric patient families nationwide.

Programs: Kids & Art provides supportive, hands-on creative art experiences directly to pediatric patients and families in person, online, and through care centers.
