Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs

Mission: Comprised of passionate kids and their families, Kidz That Care is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that organizes and leads fun, safe, free age-appropriate volunteer events and service projects that empower kids and teens to give back to their communities, advocate for causes they care about, and become student leaders. We partner with organizations supporting diverse causes and share free resources on service awards/recognition, scholarships, and student leadership opportunities.

Results: Since we started our organization in the summer of 2018 we have served 1000+ volunteer hours, completed 300+ service projects in support of hundreds of NC and Charlotte-based non-profits. We have been recognized with a Gold Level Presidential Service Award (2019-2020) and (2020-2021), Governor's Volunteer Service Award, Prudential Spirit of Service Bronze Medallion (State Honoree), Daily Points of Life Award, and awards from several educational and youth leadership foundations. For our work especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been recognized by local, state and national media.
