Great secret weapon to easy pool maintenance!

Really helps with water stabilization. We use less chemical stuff when we use these regularly but it does need to be replaced at least every 6 mo the for effectiveness.

Been using this product since my pool was installed in 2017. And having great sparkling clean water.

I purchased a small cabin home last year that has an 18' above ground pool. I didn't know much about pool maintenance but I did know that I didn't want heavy chlorine in it. I tried this Frog product despite it being presented as for inground pools. It didn't fit the skimmer basket so I just tied it to the entry platform near the water inlet and let it dangle about a foot into the water.This Frog worked beautifully for the entire season (fairly short here in Maine), I would say it could easily last six months. The pool water tested perfectly, felt soft and smooth and had no chlorine smell. I occasionally use a non-chlorine pool shock during the season. I only used a heavy chlorine shock when I first opened the pool in May. I plan on using this Frog product again this my second year as a pool owner. I recommend trying this product if you want a mineral based pool sanitizer system.

I have used these for 2 years no, my pool has never looked better. Easy to use, no mess, less chlorine.

Mine had the top busted off and about 1/4 of the crystals spilled through the box. I was able to reassemble but that and certain other aspects of the packaging make me suspect what I received had been a previous returned item. I don't know why but the last two now (one per season) have come in damaged. The Mfg should take more care to shrinkwrap or somehow seal the product for transport. Since my repair it does work well, heck this is the exact thing the pool supply stores DONT want you to know about since it truly is hard to believe how well it works defeating algae. My pool workload is less than ever, and I hope Instant Frog does not get 'accidentally' axed by the pool chemical mafia.
